Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The mission of my school is to provide a socio-economically, culturally, and racially diverse community of students with an exceptional public education.

Our children are growing, inquisitive, and learning new tools to make sense of the world around them.

My students are first graders who are beginning to take a bigger and important role; that will prepare and transition them to become second graders in the latter half of the year.

As a classroom that loops from first to second grade, students learn and accommodate to their surroundings with a more comfortable take on learning. Students learn from each other more and become much more responsible as the year passes by. Students are caring and understanding of one another because of their long stay in the classroom with their peers and their teacher.

My Project

Having teacher resources to use in the classroom is very important. Especially having the opportunity to always add more fun and awesome digital support to print and use in the classroom. These resources will help in all subject areas: reading, writing, math, projects, fun arts and crafts activities. Teachers Pay Teacher (TPT) helps aid in the class throughout the whole year. Being a first grade teacher who loops with second grade the following year can be tricky to keep up with new materials. Having digital resource support throughout the year really helps a lot.
