My online students are such hard workers. They have hard circumstances, but they still are able to come to school every day and do their best. They love learning about Math, Science, and Reading.
The materials in my project will make online learning much more accessible to my students.
They will be able to focus more due to the fact that they will have headphones to block out noise, whiteboards and markers to work out math problems and virtual learning experiences to make online learning more engaging and fun! They are doing online learning for the second year in a row. They are hard workers!
The students and parents I serve are eager and have a thirst for learning and meeting the requirements to show they are making real progress in all subjects.
My Project
My students have a strong desire to learn new content and skills in reading, math, social studies, science and social-emotional learning.
Giving them supplies needed will help break down any barriers they struggle with in accessing educational support.
Since we are 100% virtual, there are additional challenges in keeping students motivated and engaged. With whiteboards and markers, students will be able to practice important math skills and follow along with our live math lessons. Handwriting practice is necessary when students spend most of their time typing on the computer so much!
