One Laptop No Excuse For No Homework

Help me give my students the resources needed to complete assignments during school hours and while at home. The laptop will be available to the students that do not have access to a computer once they leave school.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Having students in rural communities leave teachers with a challenge of being able to accept excuses for not turning in homework due to student not having the proper resources. Being awarded a laptop will help eliminate at least one excuse. Many of our students are from homes with one parent. This alone is a challenge for many. The printer will help with printouts for those students who don’t have access to printers. The snacks on the list will help fill my students empty stomachs. Every item on this list will help aid in the success of every student that enters my classroom. We thank you so much for all your support and for caring about our student’s future.
