This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the speech therapist for 55 amazing special education students. We are in need of an iPad in the speech therapy room to help increase our speech and language skills.

Using an iPad in speech therapy will allow my students to be more engaged and have more autonomy over the sessions.

By allowing them to choose the activity, they will have more buy-in, therefore increasing their motivation toward their goals. The iPad will allow for a larger library of games, activities, and e-books that I can pull from to help my student's speech and language skills grow.
