My Students

We are a small, Title I school that provides a safe and nurturing environment for all our students. We utilize the Leader In Me Program where students learn to be responsible for their own actions and their own learning. They use the 7 Habits to strengthen their intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and their ability to work as a team.

My students are active, enthusiastic, and creative learners.

They enjoy hands-on activities and working in groups. The 7 Habits has really taught my students how to synergize with one another. I love the growth they are exhibiting and the leaders that they are becoming.

My Project

My students love using any kind of technology whenever possible. So far, we only have two working desktop computers, one iPad, and six chromebooks in the classroom. My students need more chromebooks to build their technological skills, create presentations, and access online curriculum.

My goal is for every student to have access to a device in the classroom.

Through the use of technology, students will grow academically. Students will be able to do online research and create academic presentations and videos. They will also use the chromebook for accessing ST Math and Raz Kids. These two websites can help improve their math and reading skills.
