Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My little preschool students with special needs love adventures. They love to dress up as a police officer, fire fighter, chef, construction worker, or doctor. With these toys they will be able to build buildings, roads, and bridges with the bristle blocks. They will also be able to pretend they are traveling using cars, airplanes, and trains.
Community dolls, bristle blocks, transportation toys, dress-up clothes, and a smartphone will give my students the toys to engage in so many adventures.
These materials will promote learning in the classroom. In addition, these materials will support lessons in areas of language-literacy, math, and social skills.
