My Project

Period poverty is real! To increase student wellness and address barriers that prevent students from engaging in learning, it is now imperative to provide feminine hygiene products for students. My female students are great and deserve to have the products they need each month.

These supplies are needed on a daily basis!

When girls have access to safe sanitary materials to manage their menstruation, they decrease the risk of infections. Poor menstrual hygiene can lead to urinary or reproductive tract infections and affect the well-being of students. Girls may avoid attending school during their periods due to lack of access. That's why this project is so important.

Ms. Perkins Lanier High School Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
