Take a seat, Parakeet! On the rug, Lady bug! Our classroom is in need of a brand new rug where we can all sit together and listen to stories, sing songs, and play games.
We are a Kindergarten classroom in West Palm Beach.
We attend a Fine Arts magnet school where we get to learn to sing, dance, act, run a TV show, and play instruments! Our students come from many ethnic backgrounds, with many receiving free or reduced lunch.
My Project
Our class rug is very old and has been peed on, thrown up on, and beat up pretty good! We would love this one with boxes where each child can have their own seat. We use our rug all day long. This is where we sit to listen to stories, play games, sing songs, and learn new things!
A new rug in our class will give everyone their own defined space and brighten up our room.
It will contribute to a clean, safe environment, which every student needs and deserves!
