Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are motivated and eager to learn but have some learning gaps due to the pandemic, especially in reading. They are learning to read and would benefit from accessing the Touch Phonics materials. My students will use the Touch Phonics units to link sounds to letters, recognize patterns, and build and write words to improve their reading ability as they read words in context.

An added benefit is that multi-sensory techniques are motivating and engaging for students.

This Touch Phonics kit will allow my students to have access to needed Multi-sensory activities provide scaffolding for my beginning and struggling readers by including visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile activities to enhance their learning and memory.
