This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Hi! I am a 5th grade science and social studies teacher at an amazing school. As amazing as my school is, the task of sparking interest within upper elementary students is often an obstacle.

I am hoping to add items to our classroom to make our units more relevant and engaging for our students.

I am asking for up-to-date reference materials, a TPT gift card to purchase labs and other classroom materials, hands on kits that align with our science curriculum, and books to help build a more diverse classroom library. These items will be used to enrich our existing curriculum and increase student engagement.

Our students deserve to have an amazing, productive year. Thank you for helping students strengthen their connection to the science and social studies standards being taught this year.
