Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the proud teacher of 2nd and 3rd-grade students in a special class of 12. Each of them brings something unique and learns in their own different way, but one thing is for sure: they are all eager to grow and improve. Each of these items will help my students take ownership of their learning while providing interactive learning experiences.

The carpet offers them a space for flexible seating, as well as somewhere they can convene in partnerships.

The dry-erase board allows me to meet the students where they are academically and provide instant instruction, no matter where they are in the room. The cart would be a quick on-the-go traveling solution for small group instruction materials. Lastly, the anchor chart paper is essential, as it offers a visual reference to what they are learning, increasing their exposure to the content and therefore, their retention of the concepts.
