My Project

Learn through playing games? There are so many great Math games and resources to help kids build number fluency and master math standards. Plus, they think they are getting to just play and have downtime on the screen. I saw tremendous growth in the kids on apps such as Happy Numbers, and I could see what gaps I needed to cover in RTI. I plan to use these as part of my math rotation groups. In addition to math skills, these can be used to take AR tests for gauging their reading comprehension levels. I also reward good behavior with tablet time if all of their must-dos have been completed. My students will not have access to our aging Chromebooks soon and these will be vital to their academic success.
