Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As upper grade scholars, my students write all day. They write every day about what they've learned and most of all they write about how they will use their knowledge to lead them to college. My students enjoy a sharpen pencil because our mode in our classroom is, a sharpen pencil is a sharpen mind.

My students are a group of multicultural scholars that keep me on my toes every second of the day.

Our school can be describe as a small community that strive for every student to be successful. Every second of the day is geared for learning, sharing what has been learned; but most of all believing that "I will go to college".

My Project

They will use both the pencils and sharpener in their learning throughout the day. Writing is an important part that is carried out throughout the core curriculum; as all our learning centers require the students to record their critical thinking in their journals.

To be able to sharpen a pencil in class seems like something that is just standard, everyone should be able to do it.

Not being able to sharpen pencils has been the most frustrating thing for them. The overall moral and functionality of the class will improve drastically!
