As a new teacher, I’ve been grateful to receive many hand-me-down books, which my students have absolutely loved. However, many of these books are now falling apart, and I’m hoping to add new titles to our classroom library for independent reading—books that my students can enjoy for years to come.
It’s truly rewarding to see the excitement on their faces when new books are added to the shelves.
From what I’ve observed, their creativity has flourished, and their writing and language skills have shown noticeable improvement.
With this project, my goal is to continue nurturing their love for reading, support their growth in language arts, and ensure they’re well-prepared for the next grade level.
