Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a Title 1 school more than half of the students at my school come from low socio-economic status and receive free or reduced-price lunches. Some of our students are new to the country and might not have ever been in a school setting.Some are just returning from a year and a half on online learning back to the inhouse school setting.

My Project

Dealing with covid has not been fun. We are still dealing with a global pandemic and to help prevent students from getting sick and missing school. Now, the we are entering a new phase with covid, in order to maintain a clean and healthy classroom environment , we need antibacterial to wash their hands with.

The Lysol wipes will allow us to sanitize our desks daily and well are high traffic contact areas such as door handles and laptops.

With the daily use of face masks, my student are in constant need to repalcement masks.
