This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students come from different backgrounds and languages. For many of our three and four-year-olds, this will be their first experience in a classroom. We provide them with support and care to make their education journey an enjoyable one.

I love to give students an opportunity to expose to different materials to create and design-- the sky's the limit.

These materials will help students design and create different animal homes, vehicles, planets, plants and so much more! As a S.T.E.A.M. teacher, I incorporate science, technology, art, math, and engineering into our students' learning. Our students learn through play and experiences.

These materials are important for our S.T.E.A.M. classroom because they help foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity when they build and design. My 3-K and Pre-K students have expressed a big interest in using lego pieces to design. I would like to include more lego pieces to have them create structures with windows, homes for animals, etc. At the end of our unit of study, we showcase the magnificent work created by our 3-K and Pre-K students. Instead of putting their work in their backpack where it may break or pieces may fall out, these bags are ideal to keep their projects together.

This is my second year as a S.T.E.A.M teacher so these materials would mean so much to my classroom. Although I have taught Pre-K previously, I did not have many engineering materials. Thank you in advance for helping me provide materials for our future engineers and scientists.
