Help me give my students the ability to use technology in the classroom every day. This is a skill they will need to succeed every day through the rest of their lives.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Some say teaching is difficult, but I am blessed to have a group of hard-working, enthusiastic students that brighten my every day and make teaching so much easier.
They lead, inspire and motivate each other to learn and do more, not only for themselves, but also for those around them.
They are the reason I go to work every day with a smile on my face ready to feed their active imaginations and give them all the tools for success.
My students are economically and culturally diverse coming from many backgrounds. Some transfer into the school from various cities nearby to be included into our leadership atmosphere but most come from the zone around the neighborhood.
My Project
Let's face it, technology is not going away. My third grade students have even showed me some new tricks that they discovered on their own.
By implementing this technology, the students will be motivated to work harder and achieve more.
They will be able to show off their hard work easily and often. With the projector mounted, a portable doc camera stand and connected through Apple TV, the students and I will be able to move around freely to give them the best education possible. Also, this will free up space in the classroom for a more flexible and comfortable atmosphere.
