My Project

Our kindergartners are going to be in a literacy-enriched classroom. With shelves of wonderful books plus a designated area to listen to audiobooks, my students will grow their reading skills throughout this school year!

With the headphones included in this project, the students will have the opportunity to use them during choice time or independent reading time.

There's even flexibility to use them in our computer center. Some students who need extra support will feel more confident about reading when using a guided reading feature (e.g. EPIC!). Discovering books in different ways will allow them to fall in love with reading.

It's important to have students feel independent in any classroom. With the seat sacks, my 4- to 5-year-old students' independence will evolve every day. Keeping their space tidy and accessible will help them transition throughout the day if everything is kept in one space. Their NEW seat sacks will be within their reach for their math, reading, and writing materials.
