My Project

I’m reaching out for this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a group of incredible students as they transition from elementary to middle school. As the school counselor at Lansdowne Elementary, I’ve had the honor of working with these students since kindergarten. Our school serves a low socio-economic population, and many of these students have already shown amazing growth in leadership, self-awareness, and personal accountability.

This year, I want to send them off with a lasting reminder of how far they’ve come and how much potential they have for the future.

My goal is to provide each student with a copy of Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. This inspiring book will serve as a reminder that, no matter the challenges ahead, they have the strength and resilience to achieve great things.

Your generosity will help us give each student a personalized book with a note of encouragement to guide them through the transition into middle school and beyond.
