My Project

These past two years have been a unique yet special years for me. I was able to roll over with my 4th graders from last year to 5th grade and continue to teach them virtually. This helped me in many ways. I knew the children and their abilities prior to starting the new year and I had already build relationships with the families. I believe this has been a blessing in disguise. In order to make things special for this group of kids. I want to get a set of books that I cherished as a child.

These fifth graders have a bright future filled with ambition, courage, and perseverance.

The road ahead of them with unknown possibilities, some high roads, and some low roads. I am requesting a class set of the book “Oh the Places You'll Go” to help them understand that life is full of challenges and it is up to them to choose the path they want to take. I think this amazing book by Dr. Seuss is one that suits children of all ages. Please allow me to get the book for each one of my students as a keepsake to remind them that we can overcome obstacles and accomplish anything as long as we put our mind to it.
