My Students

I am truly honored to be a part of a program that allows me to build the foundation of love, hope, dignity, belonging, and security within my classroom. It is such a blessing to see my students interact and crave new experiences. I am overjoyed daily as I see growth both academically and socially!

My desire is to encourage creative thinking through self expression, open-ended activities, and opportunities to extend learning.

To see a change, we must be the change!

My Project

My expectation is for each child to learn and develop while enjoying every step of the way! It is important for all students to experience high quality learning. It is my desire to ensure that each student reaches their highest potential and explore experiences daily. Phonological awareness and alphabet activities such as magnetic CVC vocabulary cards, word building, letter match, and an alphabet pocket chart provides children with access to early reading skills. The activities are perfect for small groups and independent learning. It also opens the door for Think, Pair, Share as well as challenges each student to higher levels of thinking and enhances comprehension.

The mind of a child is beautiful especially when it has blossomed from maximizing student learning opportunities.

The resources and materials needed provides an opportunity to meet each student where they are and build a foundation of knowledge academically and socially.
