Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is on the road to success!

We are a Title I school, where over 95% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. In spite of the hardships and challenges our students may face, they attend school every day with smiles on their faces and ready to learn.

Our school serves students from low-income and high-poverty areas. Our students deal with challenges in school and at home. When a child walks into my classroom, I want them to feel special and forget any hardships they may be going through.

My Project

This has been a challenging year; we have gone from teaching through Zoom to face to face and every so often heading back online because someone was exposed to Covid-19. These changes affect both students and teachers, we need to continue practicing social distancing and my most effective teaching tool has stopped working.

My current laptop has taken a toll and has officially stopped working.

Having a working laptop is crucial during these times, this is what I use not only to teach but also to plan the lessons for the week.

Technology is essential in today's classroom; your help would be appreciated.
