Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project consists of a voice amplifier that will only be used for my students as they present their mathematical strategies to the class. This voice amplifier will serve all my students and especially students who are still learning how to public speak. It will remove the barrier of students not being able to hear each other. Additionally, my project consists of school supplies that I am missing for the school year. I need markers for our anchor charts, and magnets to hang them on the board. The stickers will be used to differentiate between our English and Spanish books in our Dual Language classroom. The erasers are missing for student whiteboards.

A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card would be essential to the beginning of our school year because it would allow me to purchase ready-made teacher materials for back to school.

Many teachers have spent countless hours creating content that supplements our Dual Language curriculum and that would be a great school supply for the classroom. This would allow me to spend less time creating lessons and more time planning with ready made materials.
