Help me give my students the opportunity to get off their laptops and dive into the exciting world of science through board games, escape rooms, hands-on experiments, and more!
Every student loves science! These supplies will help me get students away from their screens and create fun and engaging old school games that are science related. The students will enjoy the different games and challenges they come across while diving in the wonderful world of science!
This may be some students' first experience with board games and escape rooms.
Students benefit from games by learning to work with a group to learn ways to communicate and work in cooperation with their peers. They also learn valuable critical and strategic thinking skills.
Board games, escape rooms, and hands-on experiments are such great ways for students to learn and grow all while learning and the world around them. I will be using the supplies requested in this project to create these games from scratch! The gift cards requested from TPT will allow me to purchase escape rooms and hands-on science activities to explore our science standards. The cardstock, spinners, and mini animals will be used to create fun science-related board games.
While I believe that technology is a valuable resource in the classroom, I also strive to provide students with ample opportunities to get away from their screens as well!
