Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Here at our campus, we have a different take at Band, where we use rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B and other forms of modern music to teach modern instruments! In my Modern Band class, I focus on getting the learners as much hands-on experience in the world of music they are familiar with by teaching guitar, drums, keyboard, bass, vocals and digitial music-making software. With the instruments and equipment asked, the learners would be excited to rehearse with more of their peers!

Not only do we want to provide the kids with the opportunity to make music together, we also are fostering community partnerships that allow the learners to showcase their talent and hardwork to our community!

It would be a huge help having quality equipment to use for upcoming performances, giving the learners an opportunity to be rockstars!
