Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This summer, I will be teaching an enrichment class called "Oceans Alive," where students will learn, study, and research marine life and our oceans.

Students will work on dissections, sea shell identification, whale migrations, shark and shark tooth identification, and learning about what impacts the dying coral reefs worldwide.

I want the materials for this project to enhance my students' learning during this enrichment program. The posters, field guides, encyclopedias, and casting kits will help create an enjoyable visual experience for the students. The treasure boxes will allow the students to create their own shell collections that they can take home when the project is over using shells that the program already has.
