My Project

As speech therapists, we work in a small, shared space with students of diverse needs including austism, down syndrome and hearing loss. The lack of dividers in our space makes it difficulty to provider individualized attention these students require. Without a more private space, the students become very distracted or become over stimulated by the other noise.

Dividers would create a more structured and distraction-free environment, allowing us to tailor our therapy to each child's unique needs while fostering a calm and effective learning space.

Throughout this funding, we hope to make better use of our room and increase productivity of the students. Communication is crucial for many of our students and with all the distractions, it is becoming increasingly hard to teach them core skills.
