I'm the new art teacher in a Title one school with talented students and little resources. My school is in a high-need community and we have enormous love for our students. We were a struggling school in all of our academics, but recently received a brand new principal with new ideas.

My principal came with a Special Education background and a lot of knowledge. He decided to have a new program for the arts called "Blueprint Of The Arts", and I will be the art teacher. I am starting out with extreme excitement for our school, but no materials.

I've put together a curriculum planning of how to incorporate the arts into Social Studies (Art History), Math and Science. All of these subjects can be applied to this program following the benchmarks and standards consisting of five strands. I'm hoping to get some DVDs for the students of grades K-5, so they can view different techniques of art, as I model it for them. They are diverse learners, and a lot have special needs. It is essential to not only show things to them, but to be as creative as possible. Knowledge as well as enthusiasm is the way to go to capture their minds and hearts. These DVDs will be the essential tool I need to begin this amazing program in my school.

You will make it possible for my talented young students to learn art history, drawing, collage, paper- mache, figure drawing, printing etc., and apply it to all of their subjects. Students have been without art for way too long, and we all know the importance of culture in young lives. Help me to bring up their self esteem, self confidence and inquisitive minds by supplying these DVDs from Brick Art Supplies.Your help will truly make a huge difference in my high needs school.
