My Students

My students thirst for knowledge and wisdom but often lack the resources to quench their thirst.

We are a business-themed public high school located in the heart of Queens, NY, the most culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood in the world.

The children who enter my classroom come from all over NYC. As such, they carry with them a wealth of knowledge that contributes to a dynamic classroom. However, many of my students also come from economically disadvantaged homes. Therefore, many times, resources, basic supplies, food, and equipment are scarce.

My Project

Many of my students come from impoverished homes, where nutritious meals are scarce. They depend on the school to provide them with sustenance for the day. However, many children will go to bed with empty bellies. I need your help to provide my students and their families with some much relief. With the items from this project, I will prepare meal packages for some of my neediest students. I will send the packages home with the students, so they could share with their families. I want to show my students that they are loved and cared for.
