Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Health and wellness are foundational elements that contribute not only to the personal growth of individuals but also to the prosperity of communities at large.

Recognizing the significance of fostering healthy habits from an early age, the importance of promoting health and wellness initiatives specifically tailored for 7th graders, outlining how these initiatives can positively impact both the students and the community they belong to.

Additionally, for the class we are seeking posters regarding the moon, sun, and earth cycles along with solar powered cars to give the students an interactive lesson about solar energy. We are also seeking modeling clay to give students the opportunity to create their own moon and its phases. These few items will serve the students in having a real world application of these concepts. Furthermore, in order to provide a more healthy options we are asking for a snacks that are in accordance to the USDA Smart snack policy.

Finally, empowering 7th graders through health and wellness initiatives is a strategic investment in the future well-being of both individuals and communities. By fostering habits that prioritize physical activity, nutritional awareness, and mental health, we equip these young minds with the tools they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
