Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in an inner-city school. I teach a very specific math program to help students understand numbers and how to represent them in a variety of ways,

These math activities will allow students to take part in lessons that will strengthen their number sense.

They will be able to manipulate the tiles to make numbers in a multitude of ways.

They will be so excited when they walk into the room to see how many activities we have to help them throughout the year. This will help them be prepared for the next school year.
