My Project

Our mission is to promote comprehensive goals, effective communication, and strategies while challenging our students to be socially, respectfully, and culturally responsible for our diverse learners to prepare our students to achieve excellence by allowing them to express themselves in conjunction with our STEAM education mission to provide a skills-based STEAM education: STEAM learning is most effective when taught with a skills-based approach. Beyond the evident STEAM-specific skills learned by students, skills with applications beyond STEAM are also acquired, including collaboration, estimating, calculating, measuring, hypothesizing, and communicating. Open-ended inquiry tasks allow students to select from their own skill sets to direct their journey toward creative solutions to problems.

These portable power stations, electronic converters and ground solar charge controller will assist us with making the power grid larger and more portable.

Currently, in our outdoor workspace, we have a solar garden that we are using to generate our own power out of two electric box trucks.

This hands-on experience utilizes 3D printing, laser engraving, and cutting, T-shirt design and printing, LEGO Robotics, and other STEAM-based activities. Students can let their imaginations and curious creativity run wild all while seeing their visions come to light. We look to allow students to learn a new skill by utilizing tools for various school-based projects where students can use hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other basic household tools.
