My Students

Help us see! How can we show every student the text on a single sheet of paper simultaneously? WITH A DOCUMENT CAMERA! These innovative pieces of technology will allow all students to be able to see lessons, pictures, books, almost everything! Give us the tool and we will use it!

Our school is one of the first in our area that includes students of all abilities in a single classroom.

Students who develop typically, students with special needs and students who are gifted, learn side-by-side with each other and from each other. All of our students are resilient individuals that, despite their differences, make our school a welcoming community. We all love coming to this wonderful community others call school.

My Project

Kindergarten is full of fun, creativity and curiosity. We do our very best to bring in all their learning differences to create fun and engaging lessons that all students can access. With the addition of a document camera to our classroom, my students will be able to work as a team, present to the class and demonstrate lessons in math, reading, writing, science, social studies, every part of our curriculum! Imagine one device being used every day with every lesson! I will use the document camera during a math lesson to demonstrate new concepts. I can use the document camera to teach blending skills to my new readers. I will be able to use the document camera during a writing lesson especially to demonstrate letter formation with paper that matches what the students have as opposed to a whiteboard. This tool will give an easy and exciting way to connect to the curriculum.

A donation for this document camera will benefit all students in all subject areas for years to come.

The ideas are endless and ever growing with what we could do with this document camera. The simplicity of its design and ease of use will allow students of all abilities to use, learn and succeed in many parts of their learning day.
