My Students

Our Indoor Recess DonorsChoose Project was such a success that I thought I'd start an Outdoor Recess Project!

Our gifted and talented school is filled with wonderfully active children who love to play.

Many of them spend quite some time commuting by bus, so it's very important that they have time devoted to physical activity during the day. They enjoy all sorts of organized sports and creating their own games. We'd like to provide them with supplies that will help them have fun and stay active during recess.

My Project

Our students are an active bunch and we have two separate areas (the school yard and Seth Lowe Park). After a long winter indoor recess period, we are all excited to go outdoors! However, our supply closet isn't looking that great. We've got some broken hula hoops, knotted jump ropes, and missing balls. We will use our new supplies to replenish the carts for both recess areas.

Thanks to your generosity, our indoor recess supplies were recently restocked.

We are looking to do the same for outdoor recess! Our students will use the balls, jump ropes and other supplies to play fun games during recess.
