it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our students are incredibly caring and eager to be back for face-to-face learning. Now more than ever, we have to try our best as teachers to provide them with the best that we can. We don't know how deeply this pandemic has affected them, but I will help them get ready for anything.
Our students are amazing, very smart, creative, funny, and curious, and I want to help our students be engaged and motivated!
We, as teachers, have to be even more creative than ever. So, I want to continue to bring the best resources that we can to help students improve their futures! Our students live in a community with a high poverty rate but we will try our hardest to not let that be the biggest determining factor for their futures.
My Project
We have lots of student-athlete runners in our school, from our Cross Country team to our Track team, to our Special Olympians, and more.
The El Paso Marathon is a great way to keep our student-athletes involved in sports outside of school!
Although our running seasons are not year-round, our student-athletes must keep up their running as much as they can. This marathon has a virtual option but requires participants to pay a registration fee that most of our students cannot afford, but with your donations, we can help 10 of our student-athletes virtually participate without them having to worry about not being able to pay it.
