Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The novel sets I have requested, Wild Robot and The Bridge Home, will open my students world up to different perspectives. I have never seen students react to reading as they do while reading a book as a whole class. It is as if they are watching a movie together but even better because the reaction is coming from a book! The class sets of chapter books we have at our school are outdated and are often from the same type of persons point of view. As a fourth grade teacher, my students are at the age where they decide if they love reading or hate it.

Please help me continue their journey in becoming lifelong readers.
