Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I spend every day with the most amazing students. Many of my students are going to be the first in their family to attend college and are currently working hard to earn college credit in my AP Literature class.

These students are incredible and driven to be successful, but they just need to tools to enhance their learning!

Almost 70% of the students receive free lunch, but that does not define who they are academically. Financial hardship outside of the classroom should not impact their ability to succeed in class. They know that they are intelligent students and I want to give them the books that they deserve.

My Project

This year the AP Literature program grew by over 30 students and these novels will allow for this years students to read this novel. Last year this was a favorite of the students, and I would love for these students to have the chance to read it. They will be able to interact with the material and successfully prepare for the test. It would be a great final novel for them to end the year on!

These novels will go directly to the students for them to read and interact with, and explore more unique literature.

It would be amazing and appreciated!
