Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My wonderful students will be able to participate and enjoy this novel study by having access to the book in hand! They will engage in reading this novel every day as part of small group instruction that will impact their literacy needs.

The group of students will be given the opportunity to gain skills in strengthening their reading comprehension.

Reading comprehension is an area that my students need more support in. Teaching them with this novel study will evoke students' interest and make learning fun! Teaching literacy skills can be challenging when students don't find personal connections or find texts boring. I'm excited to provide them with this unique opportunity that will permit learning using intriguing curriculum.

My students are incredible children who would be fascinated by this novel. They have wonderful hearts, are kind, giving and deserve the best. My students would be excited to have these books and would appreciate them in every way they can.
