This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having the actual books in hand will help my students with their learning. The students that can read at grade level will be able to read on their own and move at their pace. The lower students would be able to follow along in the book.

Novel studies help students be able to use all of the reading skills that they have learned and put them into practice.

I chose novels that the students seem to enjoy. The past two years I have had to use digital tools to give the “book” to the students and I feel that it would be more effective if they had the book in hand.
