My Project

I want my new 3rd grade class to enjoy reading and what better way than to put books, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Lemonade Wars, in their hands and work on novels together. This is a great way to keep them engaged in the lesson and help them with their reading comprehension skills and strategies.

Kids love hands on experiences.

This project will give them enthusiasm about reading. They will be able to have their own novel to use during classroom instruction. They can break off and partner read the novel and have meaningful conversations about the novel.
