Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For many of my students, school is not just a place for learning—it’s also a place where they can count on having their basic needs met. Hunger can be a major barrier to focus and success in the classroom, which is why I’m requesting snacks to ensure my students have the energy they need to excel.

This project will provide a variety of snacks, such as granola bars, crackers, and other non-perishable items, to keep my students nourished and ready to learn.

By having snacks readily available, I can help students stay focused during lessons and feel cared for throughout the school day.

A hungry student cannot focus, participate fully, or reach their full potential. Snacks offer more than just sustenance—they provide comfort and a sense of stability for students who may not always have access to regular meals at home.

Your support will directly impact my students’ ability to succeed by removing one of the barriers to their learning. Thank you for helping me create a supportive and caring environment where my students can thrive!
