Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am passionate about supporting our students because they are resilient, determined, and eager to learn despite facing significant challenges. Many of these students come from low-income families and often arrive at school hungry, which impacts their ability to focus, participate, and perform well in class. Hunger creates a barrier to learning, affecting their concentration, energy, and overall mental well-being.

The snacks I am requesting will provide students with a much-needed energy boost, helping them stay attentive and engaged throughout the day.

By having access to healthy snacks, students will be better equipped to manage their emotions, reduce stress, and improve their academic performance. This project aims to create a supportive environment where students can thrive without the distraction of hunger.

My goal is to ensure that all students have the nourishment they need to succeed academically and feel valued and supported in their school community. These students are special because they demonstrate incredible perseverance, and with this project, I hope to give them one less barrier to overcome in their pursuit of education and personal growth.
