Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are individuals with diverse needs and abilities, each contributing unique strengths to the classroom, whether it is their creativity, curiosity, or distinctive personalities. To support their overall growth and enhance their learning experience, I am requesting the Insignia 3.0 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge with Top Freezer, Frito Lay Variety Corn Chips, Sensible Portions Veggie Straws, and Honest Kids Appley Ever After Organic Juice Drink. These resources will provide students with convenient access to fresh, nutritious options, helping them stay energized and fully engaged throughout the day.

Providing these resources will not only support students’ physical well-being but also enhance their overall learning environment.

Some of my students bring food from home because they do not eat the school lunch, and a mini fridge is necessary to keep their meals safe and fresh throughout the day. Additionally, the fridge will store perishable items like juice drinks, ensuring they remain cold and accessible when needed. Organic juice drinks offer a healthier alternative to sugary beverages, promoting hydration and focus, while veggie straws provide a satisfying, nutritious snack option that encourages healthier eating habits. By incorporating these resources, I hope to create a supportive environment where students are nourished and ready to learn.
