Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing snacks in the wellness center offers students a quick energy boost, helping them stay focused, balanced, and emotionally resilient. Snacks reduce stress, improve mood, and support academic success.
Our goal is to enhance students' mental health and academic performance by offering snacks during difficult times.
Students who visit our wellness center are actively advocating for their own mental health and that of their peers. By seeking support, they demonstrate a commitment to their well-being and the well-being of others, fostering a culture of care and self-awareness. Their proactive approach helps break down stigmas around mental health and encourages open conversations, creating a more supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
