My Students

My students are so full of life. They come to class every day with smiles on their faces and ready to learn. They are always excited about what will be in store for them each day. I try to keep learning fun!

I say to my class, "Do your best..." they reply, "..and forget the rest!" I want them to know that I believe in them, and I want them to believe in themselves.

Despite some of the hardships my students experience on a daily basis, they are eager to come to school and give it all they've got so that one day, they can be successful!

My Project

These resources will be used everyday by my students. Having supplies readily available for students helps with their creativity flow and keeps them on task. Writing on whiteboards with dry erase markers instead of using pencils and paper, helps to cut down on the cost of paper and helps the environment. In my class we use whiteboards each day. Students use their dry erase markers to practice math, grammar, reading, and writing skills on their whiteboards daily.

When students here me say "Take out your whiteboards and dry erase markers," they get so excited and are much more engaged.

Anytime we can get students engaged and excited about learning we jump at the opportunity. When students are excited about what they are learning they are more apt to try even if they aren't sure of themselves.
