My Students

My students are smart, curious, creative, funny, hardworking, and friendly towards one another. My personal class consists of 18 students that represent families all over the world, as well as a variety of learning levels. My school has seventeen first grade classrooms and my K-2 school consists of over 1,000 students of diverse backgrounds. This can make teaching challenging because of the diverse learning abilities, but my students are always eager to learn. My students continually face obstacles head on and continually strive to do better. Their drive and passion for learning is amazing!

My Project

I work at the largest school in my district. My school contains seventeen kindergarten classrooms, seventeen first grade classrooms, and seventeen second grade classrooms. Wow! That is a lot of kiddos.

As schools begin to open back up, we want to ensure we are keeping our students safe each day.

My team is hoping to get a thermometer to keep in each classroom to assist in keeping our children healthy. With the growing concerns of Covid-19, we want to make sure we are doing our part to keep a healthy environment.
