Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first graders are little people full of energy and enthusiasm to learn each day! They are curious and willing to try new things. Unfortunately due to their economic status and neighborhood they live in, their opportunities to try new things are limited.

They live in a high poverty community where they struggle to get their needs met and most of the time their educational needs are put aside.

They deserve a high quality education and classroom. They deserve to get all the supplies and resources to foster their learning each day.

My Project

This set of books will help my students continue their learning at home! We are not able to be meet in the classroom, so they do not have access to real books that are not online.

As first graders they need to practice their reading every day.

With this set of new leveled readers, they will be able to read every day! They will be able to touch, turn pages and read a book that is not online through a screen. This project will help my students enhance their love of reading.
