My Project

I am a 33 year educator that continues to challenge myself and my students. I want my students to learn about Civil Rights Leaders. My students have only been exposed to Martin Luther King, Jr and Rosa Parks. Since doing this unit, I have not found quality literature in our school library about Civil Rights Leaders, instead I had to go on line and print out age appropriate materials for the students to use.

I want my students to learn the facts about the Civil Rights movements and the numerous people that were involved in this movement.
