Not a Quiet Library Hoping to Become Multifunctional!
Help me give my students quiet in the library! A noise cancelling headphone station will allow quiet spaces for students, as others are discussing literature and what to read next!

My Project
Our students ADORE the library. That enthusiasm is witnessed when they walk in the doors. They are excited to talk about what they are reading, what they are creating, and catching me up with their lives. With this in mind, we had to institute a "Not a Quiet Library" mantra. I don't want to damper their enthusiasm for this space.
With this in mind, there are about 5 kids per class period who need to come to the library for a quiet place to read.
They want the full 30 minutes to immerse themselves into Pilkey and Tolkien. This can be difficult as these 2 different demographics desperately need the library for 2 different reasons.
With the use of noise cancelling headphones, our library can serve the kids who need connection, as well as creating a safe space for children who need quiet. Let's create more multi-use spaces!
