Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This coming year I will be teaching 4th grade. The learning styles differ from one student to the other. But one thing is clear they all want to succeed and learn as much as they can.

My goal is to do everything possible so my students can be academically successful, especially after the year they all had.

My Project

Time for Kids and StoryWorks magazines bring nonfiction reading to life in form of current events. These magazines allow my students to be able to read at home using the digital platform of the magazine but it also sends them their own magazine that they can read in class or at home. Having these both options guarantee that they always have access to reading even if the loose the magazine or if suddenly we are required to go to remote learning.

These magazines will ensure peace of mind for my students and I that no matter what happens this year they will have reading materials that they will enjoy.
